Yet, Fiona's charm persisted, making her an attractive prospect for potential adoptive families.
In January, Fiona secured a new home, only to be brought back to the shelter in August. Undeterred by setbacks, the volunteers at the Humane Rescue Alliance continued their efforts to secure a loving environment for Fiona.
Monica Whitaker and her daughter Myanni had initially set out to adopt a pet cat, but Fiona captured their attention.
